The lengths and lofts are based on my documentation of 850 Tom Stewart Irons. The documentation can be used as an indication of trends within this make. Not having documented any of the other club makers, I can not say how accurately these specifications will work for them. These specs apply only to Stewart clubs made between 1905 and 1931. Since Stewart forged heads on a custom basis per the customers specifications, and also wouldn't shaft the heads, the Loft ranges and Average lengths can give an insight as to what the players and club makers thought were the correct loft and length for each model of club. Clubs that were obviously cut down were not included. The Loft Range shows the most and least lofted example within each model.
